On April 18th, Wilderness Voyageurs will be hosting a Gear Swap and Electronics Recycling Day from noon until 4.
From Kasia Martin: “As far as I know, they take pretty much anything electronic. We’ve been bringing them our old office computers, TV’s, printers, VCRs, 8 track players, cell phones etc for years. There is a charge for them to accept your electronics so that they can actually dispose of them properly. For those of you who saw the 60 Minutes special on electronic recycling a few weeks ago know that it’s often a dishonest process. I confirmed with JVS that they recycle the products correctly.”
So come on down, bring your old electronics and gear that you don’t use any more, and then go boating.
