You know, it's something anybody can do with just a little determination. Cucumber in a Phoenix used to be possible at higher water levels- like 2.9 and then again at mid to high 3's. You would paddle up behind guide rock and then ferry across to river right. In fact, you could ONLY do this move in a phoenix- a wildwater boat would peel out before you could get into guide eddy. However, the river has changed a bit below guide rock, and I'm not sure if this is still possible. You'll have to go out and investigate. -J Thanks Matt.
