Come out this Sunday, April 19th, for the 2nd Annual, 1st Official Isaac Ludwig Memorial Top Yough Race. Racers will meet at 10 AM at the take out parking lot. Please carpool from Friendsville, Deep Creek or the Upper Yough put in parking lot as parking is limited. The race course will be from the put-in bridge to the pool below Suck Hole. The race format is tentatively scheduled to be a mass start race, but should there be a big turnout, we may either go to a timed event or heats. Safety will be set at Swallow Falls, Swallow Tail and Suck Hole.
The details:
There are no boat classes, whatever you’ve got that you think is fast and can make it down the Top.
The winner gets the loser’s shorts and maybe something sweet from IR.
The race is sponsored by the rain.
Race dependent on level. Anywhere from 175 CFS on up.
