This creative alternative to whitewater films is currently on the line up at the Banff Film Festvial and will be showing in Boise Friday, November 19th. The film is also the line up for The Adventure Film festival in Boulder. http://www.adventurefilm.org/film_festival/boulder/index.aspx
In Boise, Banks Mag will be hosting the event at the Egyptian Theater (Doors at 7:00pm, $10) and after party at Tom Grainey’s Pub. Local short films and a commentary from the filmmaker will precede the Feature Presentation. Here in Idaho we are extremely excited about this event because it showcases one of our amazing rivers (North Fork Payette), and some of our notorious river thugs (Tristan McClaren, Ryan Casey, Brian Ward, Fred Coriel, Melissa Newell, James Byrd) filmed in Hollywood cinema style by Anson and his crew.
