2011 has been one of the best water years the NW has seen in a
long time, with water levels holding all summer long!
During August, the White Salmon held between 4ft in the beggining of
the month and ended the month at a pleasant 2.5 feet! To give paddlers
from other regions a idea what this means, on a standard year the
truss would maybe be 3ft in the begging of the month then end the
month of August sub 2 ft.
With such awesome water this year a few of the local IR team members,
myself and friends included, took full advantage of the sick flows!
