Hello everyone,
Checkin in from Pucon Chile this week. Demshitz has some quality kayak porn for your enjoyment or frustration. I know personally I hate watching other people kayak if I can’t have the pleasure of doing so myself, especially if its really cold and/or snowing outside. But what the heck, watch Demshitz anyway.

Last week I was able to get the new Molan out and about. I fit in the medium Molan very well. I was able to where shoes in the boat at 6 foot and 170lbs. The boat was very easy to through around and looped with ease. I think you all are going to be very excited about this one. Check it out!!!

Pucon Spring Season Wrap Up!

A lot has happened amongst us extreme kayakers in the last 2 weeks in and around the little town of Pucon here in Southern Chile. When I last checked in I was recovering from a horrible line on the first descent of Salto Bellavista on the Carhuello. Since, I have man’d up and took out the stitches and have been getting after it as much as I can. And of course, I split my elbow wide open on the first day of paddling, so the healing process has been ongoing but slowly getting better. Check out the whole story here.

Youghiogheny Defense Party

The Yough Defense party at the Falls City Pub was a great success. Money was raised to help preserve the Yough watershed. Thanks to all involved in making this happen. The Fern Cliff Collective kept the party bumpin playing all night long. I really enjoyed the band. Not only where they very talented, but Jess Hartman (rhythm guitar) is a long time kayaking partner of mine. It was good to see those guys tearin it up, I was very impressed. Demshitz whitewater boat riding the Raquette river in NY… our good friend Randy gets some initiation beatdowns and swims! We didn’t get the rest of the weekend on film because demshitz left the camera on the roof of the car and smashed the battery. those gosh darn demshitz…..enjoy!

Paddling in Arkansas with Ouachita Outdoor Outfitters

Yes there is paddling in Arkansas. Here is a video from our paddleday with Ouachita Outdoor Outiftters ouachitaoutdoors.com. Summer thunderstorms brought the rain and Demshitz got to paddle Baker Creek. Afterwards we partied, premiered our movie and jumped people with Andy’s remote control car that goes 0 to 40 in like 2 seconds……it was pretty sick.

In this final episode of DEMSHITZ MADE, Dave Space gets a Demshitz Tattoo, and then paddles the Skykomish River in N.W. Washington. After which he is ridiculed by 16 year old kayakers. Dave then takes on his final challenge, to surf Skookumchuck Narrows! Enjoy and thanks for watching!

Demshitz gets to British Columbia to do a few classic creeks as well as the Skookumchuck tidal wave. This is a good mix of creekin on the Callaghan, Cheakamus,and,Rogers with some freestyle from the Skook. We had 7 days in BC and were able to take full advantage. It was a great week, paddling everyday, thats what we like.
