Hi, I have just recently bought your men’s competion dry jacket for my boyfriend for Christmas and wondered if these thick skin pants would be suitable to go with it.
In other words are they like a wet suit bottom or are they meant as an under garment?
Thanks for your early reply. Maureen

    Hi Maureen,
If you are looking for a warmer climate thin insulator to compliment the Drytop that you have purchased, the Thermoskin Pants may be what you are looking for. The Thermokin is manufactured using basically a .5 neoprene material, so it can be worn as an outer layer in semi-cold conditions, or as a base layer (under splash pants or drysuit), as it will retain body heat while wet. The Thickskin garments are primarily used as a base insulating layer under your technical splashwear. One other piece that you may consider is our SplashPants. These are constructed of the same 4-layer waterproof material as the Comp Top that you have purchased, and although you will still need an insulating layer under them, they will keep your boyfriend drier and happier on the river!
    Jesse
