When you send something back to IR- whether its for an exchange, refund, or repair- you need to first fill out a support ticket- follow the link at the bottom of this page.
After you fill out and send us the support ticket, you will get an automated response with a ticket number, and then we will get back to you with shipping instructions. We like to review all requests before you send stuff back to save time and money.
Please write your ticket number on the box you use to return the item. This will make processing your return much easier for us. When sending back a garment or spray skirt, it is important to ensure the product(s) are clean and dry. You will be subject to a $10 cleaning fee if you fail to follow these instructions. We handle the inside of stinky garments for hours at times, so please be considerate and wash your gear. Please do not send us wet gear. That’s nasty.
After an inspection and before repairs are completed you will receive a request for payment. Unless your issue is covered by warranty you will pay for shipping both ways. Otherwise return shipping is on us. Check with our guarantee before deciding that your issue is a warranty. We attempt to always keep our fees reasonable.
We do all of our repairs in-house with the most experienced kayaking gear repair team in the country. That means your gear will be serviced quickly and effectively.
